Overview
The film starts with a release of peoples' vote of government election, where Rajamanthri (Vijaya) lost his seat and crying with his allies. However, his secretary Sumanasiri (Rodney) revealed that the winning member has been hospitalized after hearing the shocking news of that he won the election of the seat. Rajamanthri and crew went to the hospital and finally the winning member died and Rajamanthri won the seat. After winning the seat, he started to celebrate the win, but his fellow ministers (Priyantha and Jayasiri) started to make actions against him. However, with many funny incidents, Rajamanthri pass all the battles with the help of his allies. Meanwhile, Liyana Mahaththaya (Lal), clark (Mihira) and Kalu mudalali (Giriraj) proposed an Awurudu Ulela to impress Chief minister Narendrasinghe (Sathischandra).

An embarrassing problem emerges in a quiet household somewhere in a province of Sri Lanka. The patriarch of a lovely family suddenly dies in front of the TV one fateful night. He experienced something soulfully romantic before his last breath and the most sensitive part of his deceased body still functions without pulse or blood pressure. His two grown sons and a mourning mother are eager to bend down the standing organ to avoid shameful reactions at the funeral.

After getting through the O/L Examination with outstanding results, Anuththara with his friends eagerly look forward to experience their final years in school as seniors in the A/L class. They befriend Ahinsa and the other new girls who join their school. Ahinsa draws everyone’s attention for her smartness as well as her cheerful yet mysterious behaviour. Her irregular school attendance and the rumours circulating about her, make the others suspect that there’s a hidden story behind her cheerfulness.

Gajaman is a henchman of the local politician Magodisthuma. Gajaman's life is turned upside down when Magodisthuma asks him to pick up his daughter and her friend from the airport. The trouble is, Gajaman falls in love with Magodisthuma's daughter immediately as he sees her. Magodisthuma becomes furious when he finds out about this. Gajaman is exiled from his village and he tries to sneak back in with the help of his friend Amdan. The movie revolves around the classic Sri Lankan characters Gajaman and Magodisthuma created by Camillus Perera from newspaper cartoons in the 60s.

Gindari 2: Bahubuthayo 3 (Sinhala: ගින්දරී 2 - බහුබූතයෝ 3) is a 2022 Sinhalese comedy mystery film written and directed and produced by Udayakantha Warnasuriya.The film served as a sequel to the 2015 film Gindari, which is the third installment of Bahubuthayo film series. Rodney Warnakula, Mahendra Perera and Paboda Sandeepani in reprise their lead roles along with Saman Hemaratne and Srinath Maddumage. Music composed by Ananda Perera.

The story revolves around the match-maker Mangala Jaya (Vijaya), who is a poor, but kind hearted person with a single daughter. A series of hilarious incidents went through the plot, and though he is a match-maker, he fails to find a good boy to his young daughter. At last, his daughter was able to find the soul mate.

Ishara, the only beautiful young daughter of an elderly wealthy plantation owner, Clifford, is attacked by extortionists. Clifford has to pay ransom money to save his daughter. However, when the ransom is paid, the police intervene and try to catch the extortionists, but they run away. Meanwhile, three young men are recruited for new jobs in the tea plantation. A love affair develops between one of the young men, the handsome Sameera, and Clifford's daughter Ishara. Greshan, the estate superintendent, who is strict about this, objects to it. He maintains a secret relationship with Clifford's young wife Sherin. Soon Sherin gets murdered and Ishara and Sameera tries to uncover the secrets behind the murder but then unexpectedly, Ishara gets kidnapped again, and its upto Sameera to solve all the mystries and save Ishara.

In this tale of deception and misadventure, a group of five village con men, each with unique skills, form a traveling performance troupe to camouflage their illicit actives. When approached by Swami, a con artist posing as a Hindu priest, they agree to pose as fake businessmen in a scheme to buy two Walampooris.
