An embarrassing problem emerges in a quiet household somewhere in a province of Sri Lanka. The patriarch of a lovely family suddenly dies in front of the TV one fateful night. He experienced something soulfully romantic before his last breath and the most sensitive part of his deceased body still functions without pulse or blood pressure. Ishara, the only beautiful young daughter of an elderly wealthy plantation owner, Clifford, is attacked by extortionists. Clifford has to pay ransom money to save his daughter. Soon Sherin gets murdered and Ishara and Sameera tries to uncover the secrets behind the murder but then unexpectedly, Ishara gets kidnapped again, and its upto Sameera to solve all the mystries and save Ishara.

Gindari 2: Bahubuthayo 3 (Sinhala: ගින්දරී 2 - බහුබූතයෝ 3) is a 2022 Sinhalese comedy mystery film written and directed and produced by Udayakantha Warnasuriya.The film served as a sequel to the 2015 film Gindari, which is the third installment of Bahubuthayo film series.
