Overview
ZG80 is a prequel of Metastaze. The movie brings back its characters to prewar Yugoslavia where they, as part of Bad Blue Boys, go on a football match in Belgrade to see Dinamo play against Crvena Zvezda. They encounter guest fans, their arch rivals Delije, in a series of events that lead to football fans war on the streets of Belgrade.

'Malo Misto' lives its own life, but not far behind the times. Hotel manager Roko Prč strives to organise tourism, so he introduces the first nudist beach. His wife Anđa brings two of her cousins from the Dalmatian hinterland and demands Roko to hire them. One of them, a young man named Ikan, earns the attention of a beautiful Swedish tourist. From Chile to Malo Misto returned Tonči, nicknamed Servantes, of course, without any money. He fell on the back of his hardworking aunt Keka, who even without him has enough problems of her own. Servantes also experiences an unexpected romance.

Siniša Mesjak, an arrogant and ambitious politician on the rise, finds himself in the middle of a scandal. To hide him from the public, the president appoints him as the commissioner of Croatian government on the furthest settled island Trečić, where he is tasked with the organization of local elections. The previous seven commissioners haven't succeeded.

Gisela and Werner Bauer are shocked: shortly before the wedding to their only son Sebastian, dream daughter-in-law Jana has pulled the ripcord. She desperately lacks passion in her long-term relationship with the down-to-earth but somewhat comfortable Sebastian, which has become routine. While he reacts helplessly, his parents, who know that their ancestor and the long-established Bavarian carpentry business are in the best of hands with Jana, decide to take the plunge.

A trip to Croatia to celebrate Inger's 60th birthday. The whole thing sounded like a great idea until Inger caught her husband having an affair. When the plane takes off for Split the depressed Inger and her two daughters, much too sensible Malin (35) and chaotic Tove (32) are on board. Tove has to struggle to be included in Inger and Malin's circle, the sister's rivalry over their mother is so strong it quickly escalates into a competition of who can comfort Inger the best.

At the beginning of 1991, Yugoslav army did not acknowledge Croatian's independence, and still holding few military barracks in Croatia. Gajski travels to an island to get his son out of the army. Locals have besieged the barracks and organized a festival to try with singing and recitals to get major Aleksa and his soldiers to surrender, but Aleksa has explosives thru the barracks and wants to blow up the island.

Croatia is calling! The 12th grade of a Berlin high school is going on a graduation trip. Together with the stressed teacher Mrs. Gruber and the over-committed teacher Georg, the trip doesn't start as planned: In the so-called Eco-Hostel the dream of an Insta-worthy beach vacation with endless parties seems to burst before it has even begun. Yet McLarry in particular had high hopes of distraction: he's the only one who didn't pass his A-levels and who can't actually afford the class trip. He is also not yet over his breakup with Bella. But then the ray of hope - his favorite rapper and idol Zeno is also in Croatia! The perfect opportunity for McLarry to present him his own songs. Together with his best buddy Cornelius and Best Friends Bella and Alena, they break away from the class field trip and head to Zeno's villa. With the hopelessly overtaxed chaperone Georg in tow, they embark on the gnarliest adventure of their lives...

Stipan is a policeman who comes to small Adriatic island off the Croatian coast in order to investigate reported strange phenomena that had frightened the whole population. At first, nobody wants to co-operate with him, but he finally finds that the island is being allegedly haunted by the ghost of Josip Broz Tito, Communist leader of former Yugoslavia. For Luka, the mayor, this is the opportunity to turn entire island into Tito-themed amusement park. Tito's WW2 veterans, on the other hand, don't believe in ghosts; for them, the apparition is actually Tito himself, who had returned in order to lead them into a new revolution which would restore Communism.
