Overview

The story of a young man who tragically lost his lover in a horriffic motorcycle accident. Now working at a video store and selling uncensored gay hardcore pornography under the counter, he one day discovers the worlds most bizarre snuff video... which happens to "star" a man who looks exactly like his dead lover. Pushed over the edge by this event, the protagonist goes on a violent rampage, attempting to murder everybody involved in the video's creation.

This historical film depicts the life of a man who was at the mercy of the waves during transition from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji Restoration, and therefore, shows audience the dynamic change from Edo to Meiji. Before the war, the director, Eisuke Takizawa, together with the writers, formed a scenario writer group "Narutaki-gumi and they shot many historical masterpieces.

Fujiko has won a happy marriage after competing with her friend Kanae for Shunsuke, but her boring daily life and dissatisfaction with her husband only grows day by day. Meanwhile, Kanae, who has married a doctor named Seizo and lives a wealthy life, is also fed up with her boring daily life, although she has given up Shunsuke to Fujiko.
