Tymek, a young pianist, student of the Warsaw University of Music, returns to his provincial town on vacation, where his mother, younger brother and friends from the neighborhood are waiting for him. The central meeting point for local youth is the newly opened kebab bar. Tymek witnesses a spiral of tensions between the employees of the Arabian kebab and his buddies.

Apu and his family have moved away from the country to live in the bustling holy city of Benares. As he progresses from wide-eyed child to intellectually curious teenager, eventually studying in Kolkata, we witness his academic and moral education, as well as the growing complexity of his relationship with his mother.

Peach, a 22-year old Thai boy, takes a daring step in his life and decides to fly to Korea to meet his Korean friend, Yun Oh. Sung Suk, Yun Oh’s mother, seems to be cautious and reserved in Peach's presence. She is harsh with her son and Peach soon realizes that the two do not get along well. Willing to help his friend, Peach takes matters in his own hands and tries to mend the strained relationship. He just wants Yun Oh to be happy... and if he can make it happen, he will! But what is that weird feeling in Peach's heart? Does he like Yun Oh...?

The impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father. Jack finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.
