Overview
Tymek, a young pianist, student of the Warsaw University of Music, returns to his provincial town on vacation, where his mother, younger brother and friends from the neighborhood are waiting for him. The central meeting point for local youth is the newly opened kebab bar. Tymek witnesses a spiral of tensions between the employees of the Arabian kebab and his buddies.

Derek Vineyard is paroled after serving 3 years in prison for killing two African-American men. Through his brother, Danny Vineyard's narration, we learn that before going to prison, Derek was a skinhead and the leader of a violent white supremacist gang that committed acts of racial crime throughout L.A. and his actions greatly influenced Danny. Reformed and fresh out of prison, Derek severs contact with the gang and becomes determined to keep Danny from going down the same violent path as he did.

The Philippines, 1902. The land is raw, wounded, occupied. Smoke clings to the trees. Blood soaks the soil. The war is over – but the violence lingers. Widows fill the villages. Mothers vanish into silence. Among them walks Sisa, barefoot and broken, dismissed as mad by those who fear what they don't understand. But madness is only the surface.

A small town somewhere in Poland. "Małolat", a member of a nationalist militia, is blackmailed into planting a bomb at an LGBT rally in Warsaw. However, he does not know that his gay brother will be at the demonstration. The mother of both characters will get involved in the whole situation. The young man faces a dramatic choice.
