In this intimate portrait addressed directly to Hélène Hazera, filmmaker Judith Abitbol revisits a key figure of France’s countercultures from the late 1960s to the 1990s. A member of the Gazolines and the FHAR (Homosexual Front for Revolutionary Action), Hazera was a tireless LGBTQ activist who founded Act Up’s Trans and AIDS commissions—one of her proudest achievements. Her true victory, however, was becoming the first transgender journalist at a major national newspaper (Libération), and later a producer at Radio France and France TV. Through her story, Abitbol reconnects with the insurrectionary spirit and creative chaos of those decades—an era when French culture was shaken by radical imagination, humor, and defiance. The film celebrates these modern Antigones who dared to live their desires beyond the reach of any law.

As summer vacation draws to a close, a mute girl meets and joins a group of idealistic friends during one last farewell party before most of them head off to study abroad. Those left behind don't know what to do with their lives and decide to continue their party lifestyle by robbing the rich and partying with their money, without weapons or violence. Unfortunately, every party must come to an end.

Taxi driver Wang Dong and his wife divorced and took their son Wang Guchuan (Chuan Chuan) with them, and Shen Fang, who also divorced and took their son Liu Yang (Yang Yang), formed a new family. The older Chuanchuan is in adolescence and has a rebellious character, and firmly opposes his father's decision. On the contrary, the younger Yangyang is cute and sensible, and understands his mother's remarriage. Helplessly, God plays tricks on people. Wang Dong and Shen Fang, who were originally full of confidence in their new life, unfortunately died in a car accident, leaving behind the two brothers Chuanchuan and Yangyang who were full of conflicts.

In 2020, during the pandemic, five friends from Rio Grande do Sul face the difficulties of adolescence. Through art, they seek to find themselves amid the chaos of Covid-19 and mental health problems, finding themselves again after an event that changes their lives forever and tests the meaning of 'growing up'.
