Jahan Jahan Charan Pade Raghuvar Ke (English title: Footprints of Lord Rama in His 14 Years Exile) is a 26-episode documentary web series retracing the 14-year Van Gaman of Lord Shri Ram as described in the Ramayana. The series follows the sacred route from Ayodhya to Lanka, documenting over 200 historically and culturally significant sites across India. Filmed on real locations rather than studio recreations, it captures authentic rivers, forests, caves and ashrams linked to Rama’s exile. The first phase covers Ayodhya, Shringverpur, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot, including Ram Ghat, Kamadgiri, Gupt Godavari, Sharbhanga Ashram, Suteekshan Ashram and Viradh Kund. Upcoming schedules extend through Dandakaranya (Chhattisgarh), Panchvati (Nashik), Kishkindha (Hampi) and Dhanushkodi. Produced by Pomy Films, the series is hosted and directed by international award-winning filmmaker Sunil Babbar, blending spiritual reflection with on-ground historical documentation.

Odia cinema's first feature film is a Ramayana mythological telling of Rama's wedding to Seeta. It shows Rama and Lakshmana coming to the court of King Janaki. Rama must not only lift a huge bow, but also string it and use it if he is to win Seeta's hand in marriage. Rama strings and breaks the bow with his strength.

Ramakien: The Fall of Nontok is a mythological epic inspired by Thailand’s national literature, the Ramakien, that explores the origins of conflict between gods and demons. The film centers on Nontok, a loyal yet mistreated guardian in the celestial realm whose duty leaves him subjected to constant humiliation by the angels, slowly fueling his resentment and inner turmoil. When divine forces grant him extraordinary power, Nontok’s struggle between duty, pride, and vengeance begins to threaten the balance of the universe, prompting the gods to take action. Rich in traditional Thai imagery, emotional depth, and spiritual symbolism, the movie examines themes of karma, justice, and the consequences of power, setting the stage for a legendary confrontation that shapes the fate of the worlds.
Taking a leaf from Hindu mythology, it revolves around Mareecha, Ravanan's brother and Idumban. Mareecha and Idumban both love Mandakini. But Mandakini loves Mareecha. Hence Mareecha and Idumban often cross swords with each other. Mareecha in the guise of a deer to attract Sita is killed by Lord Rama and according to a curse turns into a rock. Years later, cut to the present day, he is freed from this curse, when Sita, a young woman falls on this rock. Mareecha takes it upon himself to protect Sita at all times. Sita works as a secretary to Rajaram, an estate owner. When she realizes that Rajaram's relatives were milking him of his wealth, she tightens the purse strings, thereby earning their wrath. And in order to kill her, the relatives hire Pandi, who butchers goats for a living.

Born during an age when the demon Ravana terrorized the world, Rama is the virtuous, wise, and powerful prince of Ayohya. As a young man, he is able to accomplish what no other man has ever done: he lifts and strings the bow of Siva, and by so doing her earns the right to marry the beautiful Sita.
