For all of his adult life he has worked as a curandero and vegetalista, a traditional healer. He estimates that in his career he has treated more than 2,500 clients. Through the camera lens of anthropologist Luis Eduardo Luna, Don Emilio tells us about his practice, his beliefs, his community, and his life. Miss Kitty Bright tells him to look her up when he learns how to swing. Finally, listening to the pendulum clock at night, Johnny gets the beat. He rushes out to where everyone is playing and sings "Easy As Rollin' Off a Log" to Kitty Bright. She joins in; he grabs a trumpet for an instrumental break, with the complete band. Underground heavyweights The Jesus Lizard return to the stage and this DVD is from the first show of their reunion tour. The original band (David Yow, Duane Denison, David Wm. Sims, Mac McNeilly) was untouchable back in the 90s and prove to be the exception that proves the rule when it comes to punk reunion shows/tours. Always an insanely tight live band, this show proves they still got it when it counts. Singer David Yow is the demented James Brown to the rest of the band's Famous Flames. Blood, sweat, punches, hair pulling and more!
