Overview

Five years after the Lantern Festival massacre that exiled Prince Pei Jin and annihilated the Shen family, Shen Heng, returns disguised as the famous courtesan Jiuge. Meanwhile, Pei Jin reappears under the identity of imperial advisor Xuan Ji. When they unexpectedly meet in the Eastern Palace, the former lovers do not recognize each other and clash as enemies.
