She gained recognition for her roles in films such as The Stress of Youth (1962), 90 Degrees in the Shade (1965), and Místo v houfu (1964). In addition to her film career, Kotrbová is well known for her work in dubbing. She provided the Czech voice for Margaret in the TV series MASH*.
