Overview
This engaging made-for-television movie follows the adventures of Ginny "Sweetie Pie" LaRosa (Kim Darby), who needs money after her trucker husband, Jack (Fred Willard), is shot by hijackers. Fortunately, she finds a partner in Flatbed Annie (Annie Potts), a freewheelin' driver. The women form an unlikely but profitable friendship while fending off the repo man who wants the truck and the criminals who are after the cocaine hidden in it.

Reyhan initially rejects the offer but later accepts it, thinking she can buy a car and prevent Mehmet from going to Germany. Mehmet, believing Reyhan has chosen fame over him, leaves her. As Mehmet is about to leave for Germany, he falls into a trap set by Ekrem and ends up in prison. The gambling tricks he learns in prison open the door to wealth for him. Mehmet is determined to take revenge on Ekrem and Reyhan. However, there is one thing Mehmet does not know.

This trucker road movie tells the story of four men driving 30-ton meat-carriers in shuttle service between Denmark and Italy. Against their will, the truckers get involved in criminal activities that flourish as a result of European custom service bureaucracy. Their bonding as friends and their strongly rooted family life help them through.

Don Duong stars as a truck driver who falls in love with a young student girl in a roadside border canteen. Unsure about him, she returns to school but finally decides to throw in her lot with him. This decision forms the gambling motif in the film, a decision which causes her grief, when she later becomes the subject of his gamble.

John and Michael are taught by their father at a young age that people are merely piggy banks... if you need money, just break one open. Charming and brilliant, they roam the country robbing and murdering anyone foolish enough to get in the car with them. After their partnership becomes strained and John sets off on his own, he discovers his father had a secret family... another wife and a daughter in another state. With a renewed sense of purpose he sets out to find and kill his stepsister. But this may be more challenging than he thinks... has he met his match?
