One day, Naoto receives a package. Inside he finds a book, ‘LIVE’. At the same time, he receives an image on mobile phone of his mother being kidnapped and a call from a mysterious man. “If you don’ t want us to inject the killer virus in your mother, find the hints hidden in the novel and head for the goal in the death race!” Naoto starts running to save his mother with the book in his hand.

Centers on the unlikely relationship between Ann Atwater, an outspoken civil rights activist, and C.P. Ellis, a local Ku Klux Klan leader who reluctantly co-chaired a community summit, battling over the desegregation of schools in Durham, North Carolina during the racially-charged summer of 1971. On one gloomy rainy night, a writer encounters an unexpected visit paid by a woman of his past. Peggy Mount and David Kossoff star as Ada and Alf Larkin in this big screen version of the hugely popular 1950s TV comedy. Alf Larkin has finally made good his dream to own a pub. The trouble is, it's got no customers. But leave it to the Larkins to find unorthodox ways to bring in the punters.
Movie depicts the later life of poet Issa Kobayashi. At the age of 50, he goes back to his hometown. Two years later, he marries 28-year-old Kiku. The couple go on to have three sons and one daughter, but their children all die at early ages. Due to inheritance issues with his father's property, Issa comes into conflict with his stepmother Satsu and his younger stepbrother Senroku.
