Having lost her mother a few months prior, Yura Michiru, now completely alone in the world, was taken in by her mother's sister, the Saegusa family. There, she met her kind cousin, Mika, who attended the same high school. The three of them—Michiru, Mika, and Miya's boyfriend, Shingo Kawai—quickly became close friends. One day, just before summer vacation, Michiru and Mika saw the ghost of a girl in a sailor uniform. From that day on, the balance between the three of them gradually began to crumble. In his latest film, Shirome, Stardust Promotion's relatively new pop idol unit Momoiro Clover star as a group of girls who enter an old abandoned school hoping to have their wishes granted by a spirit called Shirome. The girls initially had no clue they were being filmed for a movie at all. Instead, they were told that they were being filmed for an upcoming television show exploring haunted locations. The result is a faux documentary style in the same vein as "The Blair Witch Project" and "Paranormal Activity".

Several college students embark on a summer of sun and fun, but find that their adventure turns eerily macabre when dark and ancient forces propel them into a sinister enclave peopled by human, night-stalking, ravenous flesh-eaters whose wit and seemingly benign exteriors hide dreadful and deadly secrets that border on the supernatural.
