Overview
When George (Sven-Bertil Taube), a half-blind widower, learns that his children (Malin Morgan, Dan Ekborg) have conceived an elaborate plan to get their hands on his assets before he dies, he must confront his life choices. After catching his young home help Maria (Rebecca Ferguson's screen debut) red-handed in the act of stealing, George blackmails her into assisting him in a counterattack, triggering off a chain reaction in the family. George's children discover that he has a secret mistress in France.

An unsettling feeling overwhelms a small Hungarian town when two orthodox Jews arrive with a mysterious trunk. As residents begin to speculate on the purpose of the visit of these two strangers, order starts to crumble in town with some pursuing devious plans and others finding remorse in their hearts.

Moving between a white clinical space, a cemetery in Toulouse, and ordinary interiors, the film unfolds through gestures, textures, and encounters with other bodies. Inspired by Michel Foucault, Deleuze and Guattari, Artaud, Rancière, and critical thought from Latin America, this short film traces a sensitive cartography of emancipation and asks a simple yet difficult question: what can a body do when it attempts to reclaim its own history?
