After years of separation from her ghost friends, Risa goes on with her life, closing the door to any communication with any ghosts. However, things change when her sister, Riri, is proposed. In an old theater and begins acting strangely in the time leading to her wedding. Not only does Riri change, but Risa also begins experiencing a series of strange events, as if she’s experiencing a painful death repeatedly. Risa suspects that this was happening because her ghost friends, Peter and his friends, were trying to convey something.

A film adaptation of Masatsugu Nobuhiko's novel of the same name, directed by Tasaka Tomotaka and starring Nakamura Kinnosuke. This literary epic tells the story of how the protagonist, who has become mired in evil due to his poverty and low position, eventually awakens to humanity through an encounter with a nun. Shark was born without a father in a fishing village where the main occupation is catching sharks. In his poor and humiliating life, his only source of comfort is the tender love of his mother. However, on the night of a festival, the village burns to the ground and his mother dies. Left alone, Shark sets off for Kyoto with an old caster.

Fahim is an imprudent photographer who does not get along with his colleagues except Nuryn whom he treats as a friend as they share a common passion for their work. One day, Fahim learns that his mother has adopted Fikri, a boy who has been diagnosed with leukemia. Stressed and unhappy, he doesn't seem to understand why his mother insists on taking care of the boy. With Nuryn's help, he manages to find out Fikri's background and the secret that his mother has been hiding all these years.

Laney is an attractive, intelligent suburban wife and devoted mother of two adorable children. She has the perfect husband who plays basketball with the kids in the driveway, a pristine house, and a shiny SUV for carting the children to their next activity. However, just beneath the façade lie depression and disillusionment that send her careening into a secret world of reckless compulsion. Only very real danger will force her to face the painful root of her destructiveness and its crumbling effect on those she loves.
