Overview
Set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, the film follows the friendship between Deva, a tribesman, and Varadha, the prince of Khansaar. When a coup d'état is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler.

Else Riedel (Lissy Arna), locked out by her authoritarian father, seeks refuge with her boyfriend Hans. Complications threaten when Hans's roommate Max falls in love with her, but the situation is resolved: the three remain friends, and decide to form a music hall act. They want to ascend, but how? He is played by Hubert von Meyerinck as a slick and oily villain, who oozes refinement; his experience behind bars is waved away with a silk scarf. He is cunning to the point of perfidiousness, but is not completely unsympathetic. He also embodies a new type - the scrounger.

Luca is an influencer. For as long as she can remember, she has been the star of her parents' family social media business and their only pride and joy. When her parents decide to have another child, things change. Luca feels betrayed and is afraid of no longer being needed by her parents, whose attention remains tied to her performance for the family account.

The two people in their late thirties, Constanze and Jens, have a very stressful daily life. Their situation intensifies when their ten-year-old son Luis begins having problems at school. The parents now find themselves in conflict between fulfilling societal conventions and trying to protect their son. The existing values of both are put to a severe test. They underestimate how much Luis is being bullied at school and that he urgently needs help.
