After her father’s death, Vira’s mother has a mental breakdown. To start fresh, the family moves to a new city and opens a hair salon together. While the family attempts to adjust to their new lives, Vira’s mother, Yanti, begins exhibiting strange, violent behavior reminiscent of her mental breakdown and becomes particularly preoccupied with her son’s sex life. Vira begins to investigate the strange occurrences and discovers that a dangerous ritual and a demonic possession are just the tip of the iceberg.

Lebanon, Mother's day. Joey (20 years old) is preparing a surprise diner for his mom who is always abroad. but today is a special day because she is here, but not willing to stay till the evening, until they celebrate. Tortured with the idea of her leaving again, Joey tries to convince her mom to stay. But the mother is here for another reason: pushing her son to tidy his house and to accept change.

Son confesses to his mother, Ana, that he does not feel like a girl; he is a boy. Confused and blocked, Ana will decide to stop in order to observe and understand him and, in the same way, to understand herself. Ana and Son are two sides of the same coin: a mother who does not take care of herself, of her own identity, and a boy in search of his identity with all his strength.

To escape her abusive husband, garbage collector Gal packs her two young children, Rihanna and Benin, onto the top of her cart and heads across São Paulo to her cousin’s house. As she struggles to avoid the dangers of the streets along the way, she convinces the children that they are on a big and exciting adventure. When they arrive at her cousin’s house, they are warmly welcomed and fed. However, what initially seems like a safe haven soon turns out to be a trap. Gal realises that not only her own safety is at risk, but also the future of her children.

Amaia has just become a mother, and the challenge is even more significant than she imagined. So when her partner has to leave for several weeks because of his job, she decides to spend time with her parents in a lovely coastal village in the Basque Country and hopefully share the responsibility of looking after her baby. However, she forgot that even when one becomes a parent, one never stops being a daughter.
