Born to Be Wild observes various orphaned jungle animals and their day-to-day behavioural interactions with the individuals who rescue them and raise them to adulthood. The film unfurls in two separate geographic spheres. Half of it takes place in the rain forests of Borneo, where celebrated primatologist Dr. Birute Galdikas assists baby orangutans; the other half takes place on the arid savannahs of Kenya, where zoologist Dame Daphne Sheldrick works with baby elephant calves.

Mulan grew up in a martial arts family, has a dream to become a female warrior in the Kingdom. By forced to join the army in her father’s stead, she finds a way to express herself. However, during a mission that she was supposed to assassinate the Crown prince of a hostile kingdom, she never knows that this decision changed her life entirely. They fell in love. From then on, she has a new goal, not to fight for her achievement but to bring peace for the people of both countries. In the end, she triumphed over the villain and also understood the true meaning of being a warrior.

Poor farmer's son Tom Little may be small, but what he lacks in brawn, he more than makes up for in brains and bravery. Meanwhile, a revengeful witch has conjured up a giant tree that covers the royal palace and destroys the court's fountain. Caught between the advance of civilization from the south and the nomads' traditional enemies - the marauding wolves - to the north; humans and animals, residents and invaders alike, struggle to find their true place in the world.
