Overview
Naples, 18th century. Salvatore "Totò" Sapore, an unemployed minstrel, always manages to cheer up the hungry with his songs about good food, always upsetting Vesuvia, a magma witch who lives inside the Vesuvius.

A black comedy dealing with oedipal conflicts, burning hot pizza and disfigurement. A tracking camera reveals a sleeping man named Melvin. In a period-piece dream (of his own childhood?) we see a young mother with a baby carriage and an older, heavy-set man with a cigar. When the carriage rolls down a staircase toward the man, his bulk fortunately stops it and saves the baby. Later, they meet again at a pizza parlor, where hot cheese from the slice he orders inadvertently slides in slow motion onto the baby. Victor is a cook who works in a greasy roadside restaurant owned by his mother, Dolly. It's just the two of them, a waitress named Delores, and a heavy drinking regular, Leo. But things change when Callie, a beautiful college dropout, shows up as a new waitress and steals Victor's heart. But Victor is too shy to do anything about it, and too self-consciously overweight to dream of winning Callie away.

Christoph, 31, a good-looking but frustrated single man and proud owner of a Renault Twingo, dreams of a grandiose career as a writer. But so far he hasn't managed to write more than a few penny dreadful novels for the publishing house "Kemper und Bergmann", which publishes the crime series about the hero Nick Sturm. And since there's not enough money to go around, he has to hire a car from the car rental...

A Community college burnout in the making Crispin, spends the majority of his time stuck on repeat with a longtime group of childhood friends. But his newfound desire to move out of his suburban hometown prompts him to land a job at the local, rundown Northwood Pizza. There he meets a group of employees as attached to their jobs as Crispin's friends are to their city; including Sierra, a girl whose musings lie deeper than most. Through his experiences with his friends, coworkers, and a kindling relationship, Crispin Learns to embrace his higher ambitions.

Alexandra and Timofeya have a serious problem. A woman lies dead on the living room floor. When they discover that she is Eva and Sveta Kalaschnikova’s wife (the local Russian Mafia boss), and that Alex has been having an affair with Eva, the possibility of three dead women becomes a reality.

Fat Pizza is yet another slice of life at a dodgy suburban Sydney take away. Bobo Gigliotti the psychotic pizzeria owner/pizza chef is awaiting the arrival of his mail-order refugee bride Lin Chow Bang, and a new pizza deliverer is on the block. Channel V's Jabba almost steals the show as token skip delivery boy Davo Dinkum, a stoner with a bong strapped to his face like a feedbag.
