Overview
It is evening, children are gathered around the fire, and the old miller begins to tell them a fairy tale. In his tale, Mykola, a bursak, goes to Mr. Adam to teach his daughter Khrystyna to read and write. But on the way to the manor, Mykola learns that the village has been invaded by evil spirits, werewolves, and air-breathers, and that Mr. Adam himself is in captivity. Mykola and Khrystyna decide to free the prisoners and the land from evil spirits, but they will have to go through many trials.

There, they must locate the legendary Molfars that can help rid them of demonic possession and save each of them from certain death. Danger lurks in the forest and personality clashes add to the tension as the young students fight for survival.

City playboy Denis surpasses customer's car and stops in the deserted village for emergency repair of the machine. But it turns out that to leave this place, every stranger has to pay his price to the local warlock. Even more frightening is the price for the main character, who falls in love with the warlock's daughter.

Leonid Pryhunov is dismissed from the post of deputy head of the colony for educational work. To get back to his favorite business, he has to hold the position of director of one of the hottest schools in his hometown for several months. Leonid accepts the offer and goes through... personal hell.
