Dzaky, a careless class treasurer, has a bad habit of keeping money in his pocket — often crumpled, sometimes forgotten. One day, his negligence almost costs the class fund when the money ends up in the washing machine. With guidance from his mother and valuable lessons learned, Dzaky begins to understand the true meaning behind every rupiah. “Saku Rupiah” reminds us to cherish the nation’s symbol of struggle, starting from the smallest act — taking care of it properly.

Inal, Nia, Aska, Yanti, Attar, and Ondeng struggled to get education in a free school built by the teacher. Inal, who is blind and Ondeng, who has “backwardness”, have to go through winding journeys to and from school. Ondeng's ability to draw sketches makes him always "record" everything he is passionate about: his father's life as a fisherman and the fragile bridge that his friends always walk on. His goal: to build the bridge. When that fragile bridge collapsed while they were crossing, it didn't discourage them. Ondeng's thoughts that always remember his father and his fear of being abandoned by his father made Ondeng out of control and did not realize the dangers of taking his own boat to the sea.

Inspired by a true story, “Beyond the Blackboard” is about a 24-year-old first-time teacher who makes a difference in the lives of the homeless children she teaches in a shelter’s makeshift classroom. Set in 1987 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this movie tells the story a brand-new teacher and Mom who is given a tougher than expected teaching job and winds up teaching homeless children in a school that is housed in a room and called, literally, The School with No Name. She has some personal prejudicial hurdles to cross before she is able to be a true teacher for these children and of course there are hurdles like the lack of books and supplies.
