A young slacker circumstantially gets involved in the smuggling of falsified English pounds via Trieste-Yugoslavia route. He helps the police to solve the case.

Counterfeit bills are being printed in Canada and shipped across the border hidden in blocks of ice. When the counterfeiters force engraver Bronson to make a new plate, he inscribes a tiny help message on it. Renfrew catches a henchman who has one of the new bills. A magnifying glass lets him read the message and he heads out alone to round up the counterfeiters.

While taking a walk, Chico Bento, a boor living in the backwoods of Brazil, tells his friend Zé Lelé and girlfriend Rosinha some fantastic stories happened to him: he'd been turned into a frog, been attacked by ants and by an animal resembling a jaguar, and some other doubtful cases.

As her book takes form, is Saul jealous or desirous? Their friendship is tested as is Gabrielle's relationship with Olivia. The film muses on how we write, how we draw. And the nature of "story" and what it makes us do.

Fanis grows up to become an excellent cook and uses his cooking skills to spice up the lives of those around him. 35 years later he leaves Athens and travels back to his birthplace of Istanbul to reunite with his grandfather and his first love. He travels back only to realize that he forgot to put a little bit of spice in his own life.
