When 21 year-old Leo, the oldest of four brothers, announces to his rural French family that he's HIV positive, his family quickly rallies around him. A US government germ warfare lab has had an accident. The first theory is that one of the germs has been released and killed several scientists. The big fear is that a more virulent strain, named The Satan Bug because all life can be killed off by it should it escape, may have been stolen.

The plot of Death Curtain is incredibly interesting. According to the film, communists are about to blow up Istanbul with a secret bomb hidden in a curtain, but Murat Davman saves Turkey from this disaster. In the film, the leader of the communists is a woman named Leyla Sayar, while the leader of the Turkish police is another woman, Muallâ Kaynak. Murat Davman, meanwhile, is busy dealing with the bomb while also managing to keep up with both women thanks to his "little" flirtations.
