The sheriff and his deputies from the first movie decide to take a vacation in the Caribbean. Their holiday will be short-lived, however, as the thawed murderer gets inadvertently re-frozen and brought back to life. As if that weren't bad enough, he now has the ability to remain frozen even in tropical temperatures, and he's headed south to settle some old scores.

Kevin tries to be involved with his son and ex-wife's family for Christmas. During dinner, he thought his Christmas *day* couldn't be more screwed; his son suddenly wishes it was Christmas every day. After that, it was a regular Groundhog's Day. Kevin learns new dance moves and can actually sing. Don't let the caroling fool you.

Nancy Taylor, a divorced mother of three, feels especially lonely during the holidays. All she wants for Christmas is to meet a nice man - even just a nice compliment would make her day. When Gonzo forgets to mail three letters to Santa, he convinces Kermit and the gang to help him deliver the notes to the North Pole. Along the way, they discover that Christmas is the time to be with those you care about most, as they dash home to make a friends Christmas wish come true.

Lucia is a consummate professional and the single mother of Leo, her beautiful and mischievous 6-year-old daughter, who is obsessed with Christmas and believes her birth was due to a Christmas miracle. Between her two full-time jobs (motherhood and architecture), she has neither the time nor the inclination to fall in love again, but when she reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date with Sergio, a handsome and likeable chef, the spark is undeniable.

The two exes battle it out to see who the family will pick to stay through Christmas Day and who must go.
