Overview
Struggling to make ends meet, the talented but still unrecognised artist, Miltos, knows firsthand what's it like to try to live off art alone. Already behind in the rent, Miltos is utterly unaware that he has just inherited a fortune from his long-lost uncle; a piece of vital information only the secretary in the notary's office, and her statuesque friend, Popi, know. Under those circumstances, Popi hatches an ambitious plan, intent on getting her hands on Miltos' money; however, the impecunious painter is head-over-heels in love with Litsa, the beautiful daughter of the neighbourhood's taverner. Will Miltos give in to Popi's intoxicating beauty? But, what is more precious, love or money?

Jerry Mulligan is an exuberant American expatriate in Paris trying to make a reputation as a painter. His friend Adam is a struggling concert pianist who's a long time associate of a famous French singer, Henri Baurel. A lonely society woman, Milo Roberts, takes Jerry under her wing and supports him, but is interested in more than his art.

This film originated as a play in Paris. The story focuses on the one-day adventures of Bertrand Barnier played with a genius of French cinema, Louis de Funes. In the same morning he learns that his daughter is pregnant, an employee stole a large amount of money from his company, his maid is about to resign in order to marry a wealthy neighbor and his body builder is interested in marrying his daughter. The seemingly complicated story-line is full of comedy or errors and some of the most hilarious mime scenes of the French cinema.

Firefighters Chuck Ford and Larry Valentine are guy's guys, loyal to the core—which is why when widower Larry asks Chuck to pose as his lover so that he can get domestic partner benefits for his kids, his buddy agrees. However, things get dicey when a bureaucrat comes calling, and the boys are forced to present a picture of domestic bliss.

It's no accident when wealthy Charles falls for Jean. Jean is a con artist with her sights set on Charles' fortune. Matters complicate when Jean starts falling for her mark. When Charles suspects Jean is a gold digger, he dumps her. Jean, fixated on revenge and still pining for the millionaire, devises a plan to get back in Charles' life. With love and payback on her mind, she re-introduces herself to Charles, this time as an aristocrat named Lady Eve Sidwich.

Laurel Ayres is a businesswoman trying to make it but unfortunately she works at a investment firm where she does all the work but all the senior investors like Frank Peterson grab all the credit. She then leaves and starts her own firm. While trying to find clients Laurel pretends that she has a male partner named Robert Cutty. And when she starts to do well all of her clients wants to meet Cutty which is difficult since he doesn't exist.

Shy artist Isla is shocked when her painting is accidentally sold to charismatic salesman Mark, whose boss wants to commission Isla for a sculpture. Mark, hoping to impress his boss, talks Isla up and gets her to do the job, but there’s one problem…Isla’s never sculpted before. With Mark’s encouragement, Isla’s confidence blossoms and so does their love.
