A romantic comedy set in the world of gambling, debt collecting and professional boxing. Laura is an unlucky gambler with a huge debt, she crosses paths with Claus, a former boxer who now makes a living as a debt collector. Laura is cheating, scamming, and lying and eventually life catches up with her. Claus is trying to regain his self respect and start anew. Together, they make an awkward but very charming couple on the verge of love. It is a story about trust, friendship, new beginnings, getting a second chance and doing the right thing.

Chili Palmer is a Miami mobster who gets sent to L.A. to collect a bad debt from Harry Zimm, a Hollywood producer who specializes in cheesy horror films. When Chili meets Harry's leading lady, the romantic sparks fly. After pitching his own life story as a movie idea, Chili learns that being a mobster and being a Hollywood producer really aren't all that different.

During a hot summer afternoon, a peculiar, wide-eyed 5th grader asks his teacher for advice about telling his crush how he feels. They discuss different tactics, and, ultimately, the boy sort of gains the courage to overcome his fears... sort of. He also inspires the teacher to maybe ask out his own crush... sort of.

As she reaches her mid-thirties and quits her lucrative job, singleton Olivia finds herself unsure about her future and her relationships with her successful and wealthy friends. She begins to envy the security of her richer friends and, although their lives may seem easier, Olivia's friends have their problems too: screenwriters Christine and Patrick are unable to collaborate on their latest project, Jane and Aaron have lost the romance in their relationship, and Franny and Matt have difficulties handling the demands of parenthood.

Dong-chun, an elementary school student overwhelmed with seven afterschool learning academies, stumbles upon a mysterious bottle of rice wine during a school retreat. As the rice wine ferments and emits strange sounds like Morse code, Dong-chun sets out to unravel its identity and discovers the secrets of the world and the reasons behind her current way of life.

In a galaxy not so far away, the world the two moons "Alphamoon" and "Betamoon" is very divided. While life on "Alpha" is wealthy, luxurious and elegant and people always have plenty of food, culture and nice conversations, living on "beta" is the opopposite. People live in an industrial landscape and work hard for little amounts of bad food and bad air, to provide "Alpha" with the best things. But a little piece of Sushi, flying through space is about to change that.
