Overview
Collection of six short films from Nova. "Roadside Rescue" — A hot stud rescues a young fellow whose bike has slipped its chain, and is most appreciative. "Illegal Entry" — A patrolman discovers a couple of farmers getting it on. When he demands service, the young studs give it to him. "Fiat Factor" — In a sporty convertible, there's never a problem finding a willing companion, but it's rather special when it is a hitchhiker who's anxious to try it all. "A Clean Machine" — A van washing project get diverted by a big, hot piston looking for places to pump. "Down The Back Road" — A beach bound young surfer hits a detour and finds a handsome hiker asleep on a picnic table. "Packard Parts" — When you're searching through a junkyard looking for parts, you'd hardly expect to find these kinds of parts or work with such finely tuned machines.

Welcome to the curious, surprising and always outspoken world of straight men who go Gay4Pay. Curiously, there is a disproportionate percentage of men working in gay porn who identify as straight. Why would a straight man do gay porn? What motivates him to try this or make a career of it? Why is there such keen interest and debate into the sexuality and personal lives of these men? And what does it say about us, the viewer that so much of gay porn is dominated by images of straight men?

I'm a Porn Star follows the lives of guys in the neighborhood who are likely a lot more famous than you - at least on the Internet. There are an estimated 370 million pornographic websites on-line. Porn is now a thirteen BILLION dollar business. So who's doing all this moonlighting? Turns out -- probably some people you know.

Every image in The Fall of Communism as Seen in Gay Pornography comes from gay erotic videos produced in Eastern Europe since the introduction of capitalism. The video provides a glimpse of young men responding to the pressures of an unfamiliar world, one in which money, power and sex are now connected.

But, as their relationship takes shape, Daniel's latest conquest reveals his own manipulative tendencies.

Between 1975 and 1983 a new kind of film could be seen in French cinema : home-grown gay pornography. The films were shot in 16mm and most of them were passed and given certificates by the CNC (National Cinema Centre). They were screened in a small number of Parisian cinemas dedicated to gay pornographic films : Le Dragon, La Marotte and Le Hollywood Boulevard as well as several in the provinces. They were essentially the work of three production companies : Les Films de La Troïka (Norbert Terry), AMT Productions (Anne-Marie Tensi) and Les Films du Vertbois (principally Jacques Scandelari). The genre met an untimely end with the advent of video, the last being made in 1983 "Mon ami, mon amour (My friend, my lover)". Since then, gay pornography has not been screened in French cinemas. This film is the result of five years of painstaking research and investigation. It features extensive interviews with the directors and actors illustrated by numerous extracts from their films.
