Overview
After Facifica straightens his sexual preference and becomes a man, he reverted to his old name Pacifico and becomes a doting husband to Pilar and a generous father to his three sons: Eric, Rolly, and Rodrigo. Unfortunately, after Pilar dies and leaves Pacifico a widow, this affected Rodrigo so much that later on he finds out he is more female in heart than his brothers. Rodrigo has come to terms with his homosexuality and tries to gain acceptance from his father. Zsa Zsa Padilla marries Dolphy. Rodrigo finds out that his father used to be gay even though Facifica refuses to admit it. Facifica eventually comes to terms with his son's sexuality.

Ben, a slightly uptight man, ends up hiring his gay brother Shel, a party planner, to be his wedding planner. The two seem to be getting along famously, but then in the midst of planning, politics enters the fray. Ben is engaged to the governor's daughter, and the governor has taken a public stance against same sex marriage. Though his constituents seem to approve of his political agenda, Shel doesn't. And he shows his displeasure by walking off the job and going on strike for equal rights.

Somewhere in the Bavarian province the robber Hotzenplotz is up to mischief. One day he robs Kasperl's grandmother's coffee grinder. Since the goofy sergeant Dimpfelmoser sees little hope of finding the robber, Kasperl and his best friend Seppel decide to track down the robber themselves. With a ruse, they manage to find the robber's cave, but are then caught by Hotzenplotz, who sells Kasperl to the magician Zwackelmann.

Shirley is a woman who wants to be in control of everything. Working as a librarian in a public school, a firm "Sshhh!" from her makes the students tremble in fear. But in her family, her unwarranted intervention in the lives of her children and their families keeps her emotionally detached from them. Realizing that she has lost the command she once had, she goes to New York to reunite with Mark, her estranged gay son who is now suffering from colon cancer. But Shirley doesn't know this, and living with Mark in New York comes with a cost. She has to live with her son's lover, Noel, who is an illegal immigrant. Everything is going right until circumstances force Shirley to go back to the Philippines. Now that she's back with her family, she realizes that something is wrong: she is not happy.
