Overview
Gibbi Westgermany is the name of a former sailor with a Mick Jagger look—leather jacket over the bare chest—who roams the Hamburg neighborhood St. Pauli homeless. His destination is a snack bar in St. Pauli run by his mother. But it is not the safe haven he is looking for.

Based on the true story of a Russian serial killer who, over many years, claimed victim to over 50 people. His victims were mostly under the age of 17. In what was then a communists state, the police investigations were hampered by bureaucracy, incompetence and those in power. The story is told from the viewpoint of the detective in charge of the case.

Nine fictitious documentaries and films reflect the mood of late 1970s Germany, particularly the two-month period in 1977 when a businessman was kidnapped by the RAF (Red Army Faction). The kidnap had been made to orchestrate the release of the original leaders of the RAF, aka the Baader-Meinhof.

Vetri (Ajmal), Professor (Mano) and Ganesh run away from Chennai to Ooty, where they meet a lawyer Sujatha (Radhika Apte). For Sujatha it is love at first sight as she falls for Vetri. Sujatha discovers after an accident that police are on their trail and they are accused in a murder case after escaping from a mental health institute.

Middle-class Karli, alcoholic Jane, unemployed Jackie, and square Ellen are four friends living together and barely scraping by in suburban Sydney. But when Karli’s father offers her a little money and a one-way ticket to New York, she finally sees a way out of her dead-end life—that is, until the money goes missing, kickstarting a final night out on the town that none of them will ever forget.
