Overview
Crossroad is a first -of-its-kind portmanteau movie celebrating womanhood and tells the story of ten women, facing ten different life situations and explores how they tackle it. The movie encompasses ten feature films of fifteen minutes each, with each featuring prominent female artists from Malayalam film industry as the protagonist and is directed by a prominent Malayalam filmmaker. The movie showcases the vibrant facet of each woman and tells the story from her perspective.

Alby, who is married to the girl he loves, Sara, against the will of both their families. While the couple leads a romantic life in a residential complex in Kochi, Alby, who is a passionate and hardworking filmmaker, begins to face financial liabilities. A shady money deal goes wrong and in the aftermath Mathan ends up killing a police officer. Meanwhile in Kochi, his old flame Aparna an aspiring actress is struggling to prop up her career. Mathan meets up with Aparna and tries to rekindle the past, even as the police hunt for him gets intense.

It is composed of ten 10-minute films of different genres ranging from drama, through animation and documentaries, to experimental film. The ten recognised film directors who offer an answer to what is Slovakia include a wide range of generations, views and genres, namely Juraj Herz, Martin Šulík, Peter Kerekes, Zuzana Liová, Mišo Suchý, Ondrej Rudavský, Iveta Grófová, Peter Krištúfek, Viera Čákanyová, and Miro Jelok.
