Overview
Money in the Bank (2011) was a PPV presented by Skittles, which took place on July 17, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second annual Money in the Bank PPV. The main event featured john Cena defending the WWE Championship against CM Punk with the stipulation that if Punk won, Cena would be fired. This was due to CM Punk's contract being up the next night, and he was threatening to win the title and leave the company with it. On the undercard, Christian faced Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship with the stipulation that the title could change hands in the event of a disqualification. Also featured were the Raw and SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder matches.

A group of international criminals steal a large emerald from a heavily guarded Colombian mine and they plan to sell it on the black market. Unfortunately, the evil Dr. Igor is also manipulating other criminals, as well as the ones who stole the emerald, for his own benefit. Santo, a Mexican wrestler/Interpol agent works with the Colombian authorities in an attempt to recover the emerald and to stop Dr. Igor and his subordinates, as well.

Night of Champions (2010) was a PPV that took place on September 19, 2010 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It was the fourth annual event under the "Night of Champions" name and the tenth annual event under the Vengeance/Night of Champions chronology. Similar to the previous three events, the concept of the show was that every championship in the company was defended at the event. Randy Orton, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Edge, John Cena, and Chris Jericho competed in a Six-pack challenge elimination match for the WWE Championship. The Undertaker challenged Kane in a No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan faced The Miz for the US Championship, Dolph Ziggler faced Kofi Kingston for the IC Championship, A Tag Team Turmoil match took place for the Tag Team Belts, and The Big Show fought CM Punk in the first non title match at a Night of Champions PPV.
