Overview
Blind stubbornness in the face of global catastrophe, and the victims thereof. Calvin, his wife Patty and their son, Kenny, try to maintain their farm and survive in a flooded mid-western landscape despite the fact that (mostly) everyone else seems to have moved on to somewhere safer.

Deluge weaves together memories of childhood in Bandra and portrays the events of the 26th July floods which drowned Mumbai in 2005 - This short film stems out of the director's childhood belief that his father, who had been overseas would bring an entire ship into the city to save him and his brother.

The summer of his high school freshman year, Hodaka runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo, and quickly finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits. The weather is unusually gloomy and rainy every day, as if taking its cue from his life. After many days of solitude, he finally finds work as a freelance writer for a mysterious occult magazine. Then, one day, Hodaka meets Hina on a busy street corner. This bright and strong-willed girl possesses a strange and wonderful ability: the power to stop the rain and clear the sky.
