Overview
An out-of-this-world comedy cast stars in this spaced-out futuristic family comedy. Welcome to Betaville, the world’s most exclusive summer camp, where the world’s leaders send their children. They are the sons and daughters of presidents and kings, with supervisors to care for them and an army to protect them. Meanwhile, in outer space, Planet Z is threatened by the evil forces of Planet 38. Planet Z’s president XM (Tim Kazurinsky) launches a secret plan to trick Planet 38 into attacking Earth instead. A peace-loving emissary from Planet Z recruits the children of Betaville to warn the President (John Astin) about XM’s secret plan.

A race of giant Gastropods has taken over the planet Jaconda. Their leader, Mestor, now intends to cause an enormous explosion in order to spread his people's eggs throughout the galaxy, and he kidnaps juvenile twin geniuses from Earth to work out the necessary mathematical equations. Space fighters led by Lieutenant Hugo Lang are dispatched to get the twins back, but they come under attack and Lang is the sole survivor when his ship crashes on the asteroid Titan III. A newly regenerated Doctor and Peri become involved and help Jaconda's elderly former ruler Professor Edgeworth, who is really a Time Lord named Azmael, to defeat Mestor and free the planet's bird-like indigenous people from the gastropods' reign of terror. Azmael, however, sacrifices his life in the process.

Those who live in slavery are treated as simple pets and used to entertain Draag children; those who live hidden in the hostile wilderness of the planet are periodically hunted and ruthlessly slaughtered as if they were vermin.

In the year 2044 AD, the human race has amped-up its space exploration and reached out to the stars through the miracle of ROBOTECHNOLOGY, but not without bringing intergalactic war upon the Earth itself. Heroes will die and allegiances will shift. But in the midst of combat, perhaps peace will spring up through the charred remains of battered history. One of the greatest science fiction sagas of all time continues...
