Overview
Kostas is a law-abiding citizen, a quite man living with his mother, his sister Kaiti and his younger brother, Giorgos, who is a student. He works day and night at his kiosk, living to his bone the everyday reality and troubles of the period. He is in love with Eleni and wants to marry her, but he has to wait until Kaiti is married to Leonidas, her extremely conservative fiancé. The military coup of April 1967 forces Kostas to take the side of the winners, hanging, each time, the picture of their most powerful leader, while Giorgos joins a resistance group that sets up bombs. Giorgos’ actions puts Kostas in big trouble.

Successful writer/director Bernard Rougerie is at a creative dead end and decides to isolate himself from his wife in order to complete the script for his next film. Bernard moves into an apartment building whose tenants are in the midst of a revolt against their abusive landlord. Reluctant at first, he joins their cause and then becomes involved in an affair with young, unemployed resident Anne.

It all begins at a party in Santiago, Chile, when a seemingly innocent gesture -- the offer of a ride home -- ends in a passionate night of lovemaking and intense conversation for young singles Bruno and Daniela. Shacked up at a flea-bitten motel for a one-night stand, the pair lingers deep into the night, alternating between powerful physical encounters and an ever-deepening emotional connection.

Dimitris Thalassias is a single singing teacher at a senior high school in Athens and undertakes the care of a child abandoned by its mother at the door of the foundling hospital. He does everything required to raise it right, but he sees his life changing unexpectedly, since his fiancée leaves him, and his relations with his students go from bad to worse. While this is happening, the mother shows up to claim her child. In the end, everything is corrected, and a solution is provided through marriage.

Yeong-bin can’t get a job and his father, Jin-il, thinks he’s incompetent. Yeong-bin is seeing Min-jeong, the florist, but she feels distant from Yeong-bin, who dreams of going to Seoul one day. One day, Jin-il brings home Ye-won, whom he is going to get remarried with, and Yeong-bin is furious, because she is his ex-girlfriend who abandoned him. However, they find out there was a misunderstanding to their break-up and they develop feelings for each other once again. Meanwhile, Min-jeong feels more attracted to Jin-il, because he’s more dependable.
