Overview
Five "60-somethings" with different motives travel to Cuba, which vehemently changes their view of life. In a lively clash of cultures, German determination meets Cuban casual joie de vivre. In 1979 Cuba, flamboyant gay artist Diego attempts to seduce straitlaced David, an idealistic young communist, and fails dismally. But David conspires to be "friends" with Diego so he can monitor the artist's subversive life for the state. As Diego and David discuss politics, individuality and personal expression in Castro's Cuba, a genuine friendship develops between the two.

Detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey of the Miami Narcotics Task Force are tasked with stopping the flow of the drug Ecstasy into Miami. They track the drugs to the whacked-out Cuban drug lord Johnny Tapia, who is also involved in a bloody war with Russian and Haitian mobsters. If that isn't bad enough, there's tension between the two detectives when Marcus discovers that playboy Mike is secretly romancing Marcus’ sister, Syd.

This powerfully bittersweet comedy follows the relationship that develops between nursing home residents Fonsia (Mary Tyler Moore) and Weller (Dick Van Dyke) during a series of gin games in which their ailments, misfortunes and losses are exposed in funny, honest and increasingly heated moments.

Two Basque brothers and businessmen try to save their family heritage from imminent ruin. They believe they have found the solution in a quick deal: they will exchange the stock of elvers from their small local business for Cuban cigars bought in Cuba. But the charm of Cuban women and the greed of the self-styled businessmen threaten to disrupt everything.
