At age ten, Paolo asks his mother he wants to meet his father, an unknown soccer player who retired early due to an injury. The boy does not know it, but the reunion with his father and with his discipline, incites in him a change of character that will turn him into the professional soccer player that all Peruvians know well; the warrior, the fighter. Paolo with the help of his neighborhood friends and with all the support from his mother, manages to overcome obstacles and fulfill his dream.

After Leon left his team in the historic 25-1 defeat against the national team, Die wilden Kerle broke up. Only the little Nerv still believes in his old heroes and tries to bring the grown-up guys back together with the help of his dreaded side puller. Leon's former best friend Fabi has meanwhile founded his own team, the girls' team, "The Beastly Beasts", and challenges "The Wild Soccer Bunch" to a duel in the Nattern Cave.

Brothers Daniel and Julio fight to escape a violent and poor Caracas neighborhood by playing soccer. Daniel wishes to go professional while Julio supports the family with dirty money. The opportunity of a lifetime comes when a talent scout invites them to the local football club. However, after their mother is killed in a shootout, each brother is forced to decide what's more important: family, revenge, or achieving their dreams.

Through several entangled stories, province atmosphere is shown, in which new ideas are hard to penetrate. Parallel with the seventh anniversary of peasant's cooperative farm, activity of a priest, who wants to restore the iconostasis, is followed. Local photographer intrigues - in small town in which the villagers want to become football champions.
