Overview
This is the story about a rediscovered two-faced diamond mask. Stolen from Africa some 300 years ago, the mask surfaces in the hands of Texas resident Dr. Dye Oppenheimer (Joe Grisaffi). When Oppenheimer decides to exhibit the artifact, geologist and anthropology professor Dr. Catherine "Cat" Ileka (Kae Shakir) and her friend Sweetwater Brown (Perez Egbi) confront Dr. Oppenheimer and his accomplice Jesse Holland (Ramsey Nouah) about the mask's origin. They then attempt to steal the mask and take it back to Africa.

A millionaire past his prime and his young wife arrive in Kenya circa 1940 to find that the other affluent British expatriates are living large as the homefront gears up for war. They are busy swapping partners, doing drugs, and attending lavish parties and horse races. She begins a torrid affair with one of the bon vivants, and her husband finds out and confronts them. The critical assessment of his life and works in recent years, however, has been slightly more ambivalent. Ba Kobhio Bassek is the first director to examine this medical missionary from a purely African point-of-view.

After brilliant studies in France and a 15-year absence from his homeland, Adama, a young graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, rushes back to Senegal. He is alarmed by a message informing him of the sudden decline in his grandmother's health. Upon arriving in Dakar, Adama discovers that his grandmother is in perfect shape... Was this a deliberate ploy to get him back home, and if so, why?

In the midst of a volatile regime change in a Francophone African state, Maria Vial is fighting to sustain her family’s coffee plantation. With rebels and the army struggling for control, French peacekeeping forces move out, warning the remaining white residents that they’re on their own. But Maria refuses to be driven off the land, even as tragedy looms.
