Overview
Rimo and Zimo are two towns that are not very far from each other, divided by a small desert. Both towns’ people have stayed away from each other for a long time, feeling mutual hatred and fear. One day, two little rascals from Rimo, Bızdık and Minnik, decide to go to the desert for an adventure. Meanwhile, the Zimo Family enjoys a family picnic at the desert with their baby egg and little daughter.

It sometimes takes little to spoil a weekend in the country. A simple misunderstanding in a supermarket parking lot, a bad reaction, and there you go, everything is awry. Charming bunnies Spot and Splodge are best friends. In their world, everything is spotted and speckled. In this movie we watch Spot and Splodge bake delicious things, they visit a circus and try to stand on their ears, they get chickenpox, are dressing up as princesses in a fairytale and are having a disco party.

After World War II, Antonia and her daughter, Danielle, go back to their Dutch hometown, where Antonia's late mother has bestowed a small farm upon her. There, Antonia settles down and joins a tightly-knit but unusual community. Those around her include quirky friend Crooked Finger, would-be suitor Bas and, eventually for Antonia, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter who help create a strong family of empowered women.

A reinterpretation of the Greek legend of Penelope, ”the most faithful of wives”, who waited 20 years for her husband Odysseus to return from The Trojan War. In this animation, the two of them are presented in a more modern setting. While Odysseus is busy exploring the universe in his space rocket, Penelope is stuck at home, taking care of the children, showing how traditional gender roles say men should work, while women stay at home.

Luise, called Pünktchen, and Anton are closest of friends. Being the daughter of a wealthy surgeon, young Pünktchen lives in a great house. Her mother, who always travels through the world more for public relation reasons than for the social tasks she pretends to fulfill, is never available to her as a mother. Anton, son of a single and sick mother in financial trouble, does his best to help her out of it by working late. Adam's unconvinced at first; a self-described “creature-of-habit”, he’s unsure about where or how this new element will fit into his carefully-structured routine.

Bella enjoys her life in Berlin after separating from her husband Martin. She buys her daughter Lena a dress for their Abifeier and proposes a joint trip around the world. However, Lena has her own plans. Why else would she drop a meeting at the mall with the handsome cop Sebastian Berg, who still raves about bubbly Bella?
