London, 2101. The automotive world is turned upside down by new cars with unrivalled skills. A new era of gaming emerges, a competition between prisoners and drivers. Prisoners have the chance to get out of prison, while the professionals rake in the cash. It a dangerous competition in which everyone risks their lives. Aaron, a young prisoner, is asked to take part in this year’s games. Having found himself in prison for a minor crime, he sees this as an opportunity to reunite with his family. After winning all the preparatory races, he now finds himself in the final against the favorite.

In the 1930s, once-great World War I pilot Roger Shumann performs as a daredevil barnstorming pilot at aerial stunt shows while his wife, LaVerne, works as a parachutist. When newspaper reporter Burke Devlin arrives to do a story on the Shumanns’ act, he quickly falls in love with the beautiful--and neglected--LaVerne.

Coy "Cannonball" Buckman and his blazing red Pontiac enter the Trans-America Grand Prix, an underground road race spanning the continent in which there are no rules, no speed limits and no heed for the law. Race car driver Frank Cermak is in love with Jane Harris. Jane and her parents watch Frank win a tight race from Bill Peters, an army lieutenant on leave. Peters tries to foul Frank, and Frank beats him in a fist fight after the race. Frank is drafted into the army and (against staggering and overwhelming odds) finds Lt. Peters to be his commanding officer.

A group of friends in frontline Kharkiv discovers abandoned cars inside a war-shuttered shopping mall and turns them into the core of an underground racing scene. What begins as an escape from reality quickly becomes a rule-free game powered by bets, clout, and danger. As adrenaline and social-media fame escalate, every race could be their last, and the stakes now include friendship, trust, and holding on to who they are.

Racing Romance is a 1927 Action film. According to a brief article in the St. Petersburg, FL Evening Independent newspaper, the film was centered in the world of automobile racing. The article also noted that racing sequences in the film were shot at the "world famous Culver City Race track," which referred to the Culver City Speedway, a popular racing venue that opened in mid-Jun 1924 and was located adjacent to Washington Blvd., close to M-G-M and other movie studios. Apparently it's a lost film.

Auto race champ Tim Dawson and his brother Billy are fired by boss Turnberg when they won't throw an important race to his son Carl. Pop Reeves, a competitor, finds that Turnberg had bribed his top man, Rogan, to lose, and fires him, and hires the Dawsons. His daughter Ann falls for Tim, yet it's Billy that wants her and proposes to her. She says no and declares herself to Tim. At the next big race, Rogan tries to cause Billy to smash, but he does instead, then accuses Tim of being responsible before dying. A police detective decides that Tim had done it so his brother could win, and leaves him one option, his brother must lose the upcoming Indy 500 or he'll know Tim's guilty.
