Overview
Shino Umemiya readily dates guys interested in her, because she believes that's better than being alone. She breaks up with her violent boyfriend after he discovered that she cheated on him. She moves to a new area to get a fresh new start on her life. There, Shino Umemiya meets her neighbor Kyoshiro Sugahara. He is also her manager at her new job. Shino Umemiya becomes interested in him, but he lives with mysterious woman Akari.

Based on a popular manga series of the same name, this Japanese romantic comedy sequel continues the story of Kotoko, a bubbly and cheerful girl and her crush, the handsome and aloof Naoki, as they enter the same university. Although they are in separate majors, Kotoko is determined to spend as much time with Naoki as possible and joins the tennis club with him, but all that awaits her is severe training and a love rival.

Kotoko has long dreamed of the day when she is able to be together with Naoki. But when his father’s company faces some difficulties, Naoki agrees to marry the granddaughter of a client’s chairman to save the business. Knowing she should give up on Naoki, she tries going out with Kinnosuke, but even then, all her thoughts drift back to Naoki…

After two-month-old kitten Chibi-neko is abandoned by her former owners, she is found by 18-year-old Tokio. Although his mother is allergic to cats and has a great fear of them, she agrees to let him keep the kitten because she fears he is becoming too withdrawn after failing his university entrance exams. Chibi-neko soon falls in love with Tokio. In her own mind, Chibi-neko is a small human who speaks in human words, although people only ever seem to hear her meow, and she believes that all humans were once kittens like her. A stray cat tells Chibi-neko of a paradise called Cottonland, where dreams can come true.
