During the Irish housing crisis, a documentary crew follows a greedy and corrupt Landlord who claims to have solved the housing problem for college students by creating "Boxtown", accommodation for students made out of cardboard boxes located in the car park beneath their college. But is this the paradise that the Landlord would have them believe?

After backing the film's development, the BBC refused to air it, publicly stating "the effect of the film has been judged by the BBC to be too horrifying for the medium of broadcasting." It debuted in theaters in 1966 and went on to great acclaim, but remained unseen on British television until 1985.

In the dusty backwaters of Florence, Kentucky, Patrol Officer Jim Wolowitz is the last guy you’d trust with a badge and unfortunately, the only person left wearing one. When a string of increasingly bizarre crimes rocks the town—a panty theft epidemic, illegal moonshine being sold to children, and missing racehorses turning up in Chinese food—Jim is forced to unravel a tangled conspiracy involving local weirdos, an unstable sheriff, and a shadowy notebook that seems to connect it all. Soon, Jim will have to face his ultimate fear: actual police work.

Fresh out of a long term, serious breakup, Lane Woods chooses to work through (read as: distract himself from) his feelings by making a documentary about his attempts to get back out there and find a new love. With the help of his younger brother, Colin, Lane films himself as he goes on countless dates, hoping to catch those first sparks of love on film, instead he ends up documenting something much closer to reality.
