Big Bird is sent to live far from Sesame Street by a pesky social worker, who thinks it would be better for him to live with other birds. Unhappy, Big Bird runs away from his foster home, prompting the rest of the Sesame Street gang to go on a cross-country journey to find him.

The fun begins when Baby Bear goes to hear the Boston Pops Orchestra play the musical story of Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf." He imagines Elmo, Big Bird, Oscar and the rest of his Sesame Street friends as characters who help bring the story to life.

Elmo's World: Opposites is a 2008 Sesame Street DVD featuring three complete, and previously unreleased, episodes of "Elmo's World". It also includes Opposite Stuff, which is played over the credits. This was the first Elmo's World video to have a non-Elmo's World segment.

Elmo's Mindfulness Spectacular! is a 43-minute Sesame Street special posted exclusively to YouTube on May 3, 2023. The special was produced in conjunction with the launch of Sesame Workshop's new multi-year initiative about mental health, as well as Mental Health Awareness Month.[1] The special centers on the Sesame Street Talent Show, hosted by Cookie Monster and Juanpa Zurita. Elmo is too nervous to perform, and a request for help from Abby causes her wand to fracture, sending her unconfined fairy magic on the loose. As he is magically transported all over, Elmo learns about mindfulness techniques from various celebrity guests.

When Max the Magician (guest star Will Arnett) comes to Sesame Street, Elmo and his friends are excited for a fun magic show! Max makes a scarf appear and cards disappear and Elmo, Big Bird and Rosita are amazed, but Chris points out what Max is really doing is subtraction and addition. This story highlights these math areas and is followed by the rest of a full hour episode complete with additional math and number films as well as favorite segments such as Elmo's World, Murray Had A Little Lamb and The Adventures of Bert and Ernie. Enjoy another full hour of a second math centric story "Hat Day" where Elmo and Zoe have a contest to see who can wear the most hats! Elmo and Zoe must count, estimate and even count by fives. Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Firehouse was one of two "Sesame Street Visits" titles, as part of an intended series. Produced in 1990 and released by Random House in 1991, the programs featured the cast of Sesame Street learning about important locations related to health and safety issues. The companion title was Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Hospital.
