Overview
One day, in the small peaceful town of Barrio Malinawon, seven young punks, who call themselves the Iskalawags because of their shared love for Filipino action movies (particularly those starred by their idol Jeric Raval), decide to set out on a mini quest to find the tree that according to Palot-the gang's de facto leader-bears the lone papaya fruit as large as the belly of Intoy's father.

is about two siblings Alex Abueg (Falcon) and Abner Abueg (Marco), whose family and lives are shattered upon their initiation to the violent world of political assassins or saka saka. In this movie, it exposes the secret world of the saka saka as it explores and interrogates the age-old conflict between lawful righteousness and violent revenge. The movie is set against the contrasting backdrops of rustic, provincial life and the fast-paced, modern culture of the metropolis. By essence it is a story about family movie wherein it challenges audiences to think about the extreme extents that they may do to defend and protect their families from oppression and corruption.

Based on the revolutionary novel by Jose Rizal, the story follows Crisostomo Ibarra, a young Filipino man who returned from his studies in Europe, who discovered that his father was falsely imprisoned and abused by the Spanish friars, including Padre Damaso. While he is making plans to uplift the lives of his fellow countrymen, he faced resistance from the Spanish colonial government.

Carol Jeffries is a naive American woman staying in the Philippines. She is given ten years in prison after being set up by her drug-dealer boyfriend, Rudy. She endures the harsh conditions, sadistic head matron and attempts on her life, then convinces her cell-mates to try to escape with her through the jungle, in spite of the knowledge that ruthless trackers will be sent out after them.
