It has kidnapped Roxane Labelle, a Canadian singer covered gold records and awards. To his captors, no question of release without payment of a large ransom. Father and manager of the star, Paul Labelle asks a small accountant do it. Easier said than done, especially the payer also has a large sum to the Mafia and, rapidly, what Québec account scoundrels, thieves and killers are chasing the fabulous bonanza.

A couple of angels, O'Reilly and Jackson, are sent to Earth to make sure that their next supervised love-connection succeeds. They follow Celine, a spoiled rich girl who has just accidentally shot a suitor and, due to a misunderstanding, is kidnapped by janitor Robert. Although Celine quickly frees herself, she stays with Robert for thrills. O'Reilly and Jackson pursue, hoping to unite the prospective lovers.

Sam Stone hates his wife Barbara so much that he wants her dead. He's ecstatic when she's taken by a duo of kidnappers who want $500,000 ransom in exchange for her life. Fully intending to ignore every one of the kidnappers' demands in the hopes that they do him a favor and murder her for him, the two confused kidnappers have to figure out how they're going get their money, and what they're going to do with the overbearing Barbara.

What was the impact of the emergence of oil on Kuwait in particular and on the Gulf society in general? How did people behave? What were their customs and traditions?! What was the impact of oil on them, bringing about many changes? The play deals with one of the Kuwaiti villages overlooking the sea, in the late forties, when World War II was ending, and the State of Kuwait, and the Gulf states in general, were preparing to move from the sea - to depend on their livelihood - to the land and desert, where oil began to flow, and with it flowed new customs, different behavior, and ideas that Kuwaiti society was not familiar with.
