An elderly Israeli Jew of Greek origins was sent to Greece to represent his town in a town twinning ceremony, however he went instead to search for his friend from the childhood, who saved him from the Holocaust. In meantime he formed a special relationship with young Greek woman, and dealt with the broken relationship with his devout Hasidic son.

Post-war Poland. 10-year-old Marysia lives in the countryside with her mother, Helena, who survived a concentration camp. One day Helena announces that her brother - Marysia's uncle - is coming to join them for dinner. Although Marysia herself survived the occupation in shelter, she experiences first-hand that the nightmare of war does not end with the ceasefire.

Nate is an excitable millennial novelist forced to leave his fabulous city life behind and move in with his grandparents after a bad breakup. But when his Holocaust-surviving grandfather Saul shows signs of cognitive decline and his grandmother Miriam refuses to acknowledge her husband’s early signs of dementia, Nate finds himself torn between his desire to escape retirement community life, family responsibilities, and an unexpected romance with his grandparents’ doctor.

John Hoyt plays a high-ranking Nazi being prosecuted by an army tribunal in the aftermath of World War II. Sentenced to death, the general appeals to the American investigating Major (Ray Milland), claiming mitigating circumstances, and providing the names of witnesses who will clear his name. This sends the Major in a search through the ruins of post-war Germany to determine the degree of the general's guilt.
