Dragon Cry is a magical artifact of deadly power, formed into a staff by the fury and despair of dragons long gone. Now, this power has been stolen from the hands of the Fiore kingdom by the nefarious traitor Zash Caine, who flees with it to the small island nation of Stella. Frightened that the power has fallen into the wrong hands, the King of Fiore hastily sends Fairy Tail to retrieve the staff. Unfortunately, nothing goes according to plan, and the octopus gradually captures everyone except the clumsiest water nymph, Křehulová. The situation begins to look hopeless. Fortunately, Mikolášek comes up with a plan and, together with Křehulová, tries to bring it to a successful conclusion...

The spring nymph Voděnka is actually a girl from the human race who was taken in as an orphan by three magical aunts – Jezinka, Polednice, and Bludička. The aunts entrusted Voděnka with a magical jug and the task of taking care of all the springs and streams. On his way home, a young potter named Jirka gets lost in the marshes and accidentally breaks the jug. He also meets Voděnka, falls in love with her, and promises to fix what he has done. In order to make a new jug, he must complete the tasks set by Voděnka's aunts and also obtain potter's clay from a secret place in the marshes, which is guarded by the treacherous mud goblin Vodouch. Vodouch has his own designs on Voděnka and, together with the wild girl Rosnatka, sets all kinds of traps for Jirka...

Now Fantaghiro must find the evil wizard Tarabas and convince him to break the spell and bring back Romualdo.

A black cloud travels across country, kills animals and plants and dries up the rivers. When the cloud reaches Fantaghiro's kingdom she meets Prince Parsel who follows the cloud to get his stolen castle back. After her castle vanishes, too, Fantaghiro joins Parsel on his journey to find her home, her people, her family and her love.
