Ayumi Nitta is a member of a hospital cleaning staff and suffers from extreme social anxiety. Refusing to believe he could possibly be the father of Ayumi’s baby after just one night together, Wataru takes a woman named Reiko on a date to an Italian restaurant. However, Ayumi also shows up, leading to a major incident.

An uncle and his nephew travel to the capital to sell fruits and vegetables. On the way, they sell a sack of “thyme” that was meant for someone else. It turns out the sack didn’t actually contain thyme. Escaping from the owner of this deposit — worth millions — turns out to be a complicated matter.

With his best friend Luca away at school, Alberto is enjoying his new life in Portorosso working alongside Massimo—the imposing, tattooed, one-armed fisherman of few words—who's quite possibly the coolest human in the entire world as far as Alberto is concerned. He wants more than anything to impress his mentor, but it's easier said than done.
