Overview
Based on the infamous "Concrete-encased high school girl murder case" that took place from November 1988 to January 1989 in Japan. Junko Furuta, a female 17 year old high school student, was kidnapped and confined in a house by four other male high school students (all juvenile) in the Ayase district of Adachi-ku, Tokyo, where she was repeatedly raped, sexually humiliated and tortured in an extremely brutish manner for 41 days before she finally died after a particularly severe beating. The boys hid her body in a drum and filled it with concrete, but the body was nonetheless discovered a few months later.

In a rural town, ex-members of a motorcycle gang become sporadic victims of vigilante attacks. A group of high school boys are responsible for the various assaults because they're upset that the motorcycle gang had disbanded. The boys idolized the rebel gang and harbored dreams of joining them after graduation. A female student happens to see one of the assaults and is threatened by the high school thugs. But she turns out to tougher than she looks.

At her mother's rambling behest, Josie enlists best friend and unofficial chauffeur Stanley, to search for clues after her sister, Andrea, mysteriously goes missing from a bar in the next town over. Eccentric roaming artists, less-than-helpful locals, and a shadowy secret society lead to more clues than answers but one thing keeps coming back; The Wild. Maybe there is more to the family curse that has lingered over Josie's head all of these years.
