Overview

Rusty has been bailed out of bad situations more than once by his understanding but distraught mother, Mary. When Mary starts dating a psychologist, Bob, Rusty connects with the man and begins talking to him about his problems. As Rusty benefits from the therapy sessions, his best friend, Dallas, still very involved in illegal and dangerous activities, takes issue with Rusty going straight and cleaning up his life.

Fresh off a winning case that brought her unwanted internet fame, a rising ADA learns of the district's most respected judge allegedly assaulting her best friend. Ever since she served on the jury during his trial, Nora has been convinced that Jacques Viguier is innocent, despite him being accused of murdering his wife. Following an appeal by the public prosecutor’s office, and fearing a miscarriage of justice, she convinces a leading lawyer to defend him during his second trial, on appeal. Together, they will put up a tenacious fight against injustice.

Two young high school boys spike the punch at a Halloween party, mischievously let the air out of car tires, and finally steal a car to go for a joyride. They're caught and thrown in jail, and, as the narrator says, this proves that pranks lead to "habit-forming wildness," and, of course, such anti-social behavior cannot be allowed to happen
